Team Oliver Racing is thrilled to announce that Martin Gibson will return to the team for the 2025 British Truck Racing Championship season. Gibson, who has previously raced for Team Oliver between 2018 and 2021, will be back on the grid, joining the dynamic father-and-son duo of Stuart and Michael Oliver.
He will be behind the wheel of the team’s MAN TGX truck, a vehicle that was previously driven by Stuart Oliver at the close of the 2024 season. The truck will now carry the new race number #101 as Martin embarks on what promises to be an exciting season.
Martin’s return to the team is a highly anticipated one. During his previous tenure with Team Oliver, Martin achieved remarkable success, finishing third overall in the championship during his final season in 2021. Along the way, he accumulated numerous podium finishes, showcasing his skill and consistency. In addition to his success in the British Truck Racing Championship, Martin has spent the last two years competing in other prestigious events, including the Donington International Truck Grand Prix, where he earned additional silverware for the team. His experience also spans a variety of other motorsport disciplines, including the Fun Cup Endurance Championship, Rallye Breslau in Poland, the VLN Nürburgring Endurance Championship, and the 600cc Endurance Motorcycle Championship, to name a few.
Martin Gibson’s Excitement for the 2025 Season
Martin is eager to return to the British Truck Racing Championship with Team Oliver Racing:
