Today marked an exciting chapter in the journey of our Principal Race Driver, Stuart Oliver, as he swapped his racing helmet for a teaching one! Stuart and the #7 truck made a special visit to Gateshead College to share his incredible motorsport journey with students.
As a seasoned racer, Stuart offered an inside look at the thrilling world of motorsport, covering everything from mechanics to team management. His wealth of knowledge, paired with his passion for the sport, gave students a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in the high-speed, high-stakes world of racing.
One of the highlights of the day was the chance for students to get up close and personal with the #7 race truck. The power, precision, and craftsmanship on display certainly sparked curiosity and excitement!
Stuart's visit was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the many career paths within motorsport and to see first-hand the dedication it takes to excel in this fast-paced industry. Whether they were learning about engine tuning, pit crew strategies, or the business side of racing, it was clear that the students left with a new-found admiration for the sport and perhaps even some future racers in the making!
We’re proud to be part of such an inspiring day and to be given such a great opportunity to showcase Truck Racing and the British Championship.
